Medication and Allergies

What to do if your child needs medication in school hours

If your child needs medication when at school you can either come to school to administer it or complete a Care Plan (below) to give us permission to administer the medication on your behalf.

Please note that there are strict guidelines provided by the Warwickshire School Health and Well-being Service about having medication in school.

School is able to administer prescribed medication.

If your child does have to have prescribed medication whilst at school we can do this if you have completed the form to give consent. However, it is much less disruptive for your child and for school if medication can be given at home if at all possible.

What if my child has allergies?

Please let us know about any allergies as soon as you are aware. If your child brings a packed lunch to school, please ensure it does not include any nuts (including Nutella or Peanut Butter etc) as we have children with severe allergies. We really appreciate your help with this. Thank you.
